One of the African Policy Dialogues focusing on employment creation in Kenya has developed infographics on ‘incentivising the sugar sub-sector for employment creation in Kenya’. The infographics cover sugar production statistics and consumption in Kenya, employment in the sub-sector between 1991 and 2013, regulatory and enforcement framework, current and potential employment opportunities along the sugar sub-sector value chain, challenges in the sub-sector and policy recommendations to enhance employment creation.
