Annemarie van Paassen is assistant professor at the Knowledge, Technology and Innovation Group of Wageningen University and Research Centre. Within the domain of international agricultural development and natural resource management, her research focuses on social learning, negotiation and conflict management in multilevel innovation processes; the use of boundary-spanning tools such as simulation models for innovation; the value of inter- and trans-disciplinary research; science communication; the role of (collaborative) research in innovation processes; and critical evaluation of collaborative research. She leads the project: ‘Partnership Arrangements as Strategic Action for Inclusive Development: Practice and Outcome’.
