In September 2014, this research group had inception workshops in Nairobi and Addis Abeba. Discussions in both meetings explored the relationships between economic empowerment and for example informal networks of sex workers. By looking at everyday practices of sex workers, this project will come up with interventions for sex workers developed from the bottom-up. A narrative of the Kenyan discussion can be found here.
