Valeria Izzi is an independent consultant with an interest in connecting research and practice and strengthening the evidence base of development policy and programmes. Her research focuses at post-conflict peacebuilding and the development/peacebuilding interface, with a particular emphasis on youth issues in post-conflict and fragile settings. She is an Honorary Fellow at the Centre for African Studies, University of Edinburgh.
