Tsegay G Tekleselassie is a PhD candidate and an associate tutor in economics at the University of Sussex. He holds an MSc in Economics from the University of Copenhagen, Denmark, and a BA in Economics from Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia. His PhD thesis focuses on the determinants of visa policies and their impact on cross-border travel and associated benefits such as revenue, employment and technology transfers. His research interests are human capital, technology diffusion, industry sectoral linkages, institutions and economic performance.
