Tanja Hendriks is an anthropologist interested in storytelling, the politics of language, and the migration and livelihoods of youth in Sub-Saharan Africa. She currently resides in Malawi where she collects stories of youth about their dreams, economic activities and livelihoods. In addition, she works as a research assistant for Saskia Vossenberg, PhD researcher at the Centre for Frugal Innovation in Africa (CFIA). This research focuses on women’s entrepreneurship and technological innovations for business growth.
