Simone Reinders was a knowledge manager at the INCLUDE Secretariat and a junior researcher at the African Studies Centre Leiden. As a knowledge manager, she created and managed knowledge products designed to make academic research more accessible, and organized dialogues and conferences for policy makers and researchers. Simone is a development anthropologist focused on the interaction of knowledge systems in biomedical education, practice and innovation, with a specific focus on Ethiopia. She graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Cultural Anthropology and Development Sociology from Utrecht University in 2013 and holds two Master’s degrees: a Research Master’s Degree in International Development Studies from the University of Amsterdam (2016) and an Advanced Master’s in International Development Studies (AMID) from the Radboud University in Nijmegen (2018).
