Kavell Joseph is currently a technical youth employment specialist at Solutions for Youth Employment (S4YE). Prior to joining S4YE, Kavell worked as a consultant for the Climate Change Investment Funds Management Unit and a legal analyst with the Women, Business and the Law project in Development Economics at the World Bank Group. Kavell has over six years of international development experience which includes working with economic development stakeholders, non-governmental organizations and gender advocacy organizations in Washington D.C.
Her work has entailed comparative legal analysis, environmental policy, and regulatory framework affecting women’s financial inclusion globally. Kavell is an attorney from the Commonwealth jurisdiction of Trinidad and Tobago. She holds an LLM in International Legal Studies from American University Washington College of Law and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of the West Indies.
