Josine Stremmelaar

Josine Stremmelaar is Manager Program Support and Impact Unit at Oxfam Novib. She has more than 15 years of experience in managing action-research programmes and innovation management in the area of international development. She started her career at the International Institute for Asian Studies where she became passionate about knowledge valorization. As Executive Manager “making knowledge work” became an important part of the institute’s strategy. She then went to development organization Hivos to set-up a large action-research programme, where she led the development of new knowledge and practices that aim to address complex challenges. She has worked in the area of social innovation for developing methods and solutions to address global challenges. She is a member of INCLUDE, member of the Programme Committee Joint SDG Research, board member of SID NL and Global Council member of SIX.
