Harry Barkema is Professor of Management at London School of Economics. Previously he was a Professor at Tilburg University from 1989-2007 where he founded the PhD programme in Management, which won first prize of all PhD programmes in the Netherlands. He was also the founding director of a new BA/MA in International Business. He has also served on the board of numerous national and international committees on research institutes and research funding which have awarded international PhD scholarships. He leads the research programme ‘Multipliers for employment creation: the IT sector in Kenya’.
