Annemarie was a Knowledge Manager at the INCLUDE Secretariat. She also worked as a knowledge broker in the Inclusive Economy Africa and Sahel Watch programmes of The Broker. She works at the intersection of academia, policy, and practice, and of development-related issues and the global economy.
Annemarie has a background in International Development Studies (Research Master’s), Journalism and Media (Master’s) and Human Geography (Bachelor’s). Throughout her work and her studies, she has focused on themes such as development, economics, migration, identity and conflict, and has applied her knowledge in both academic and journalistic publications.
