INCLUDE proudly announces that it will co-host a side panel at the African Development Bank (AfDB) Annual Meetings in Lusaka, Zambia on 23 May. High-level policy-makers and private sector representatives will engage in an informed discussion at the panel on ‘Jobs for women and young people – the transformative potential of agribusiness’. The side panel at the AfDB Annual Meetings will be followed by an INCLUDE Platform meeting on 24 and 25 May.
Sharing knowledge on how to promote employment opportunities for women and youth is at the heart of INCLUDE’s work. In the run up to the side event, INCLUDE will keep collecting and synthesizing available knowledge on this issue, focusing especially on the new and promising opportunities that agricultural transformation offer.
