The seminar will combine insights from fi eld experiences, policy and research. Three international experts will share the latest evidence on the cost-effectiveness and social and economic impact of social protection programmes and their complementarity with other development policies. By demonstrating their positive impacts on e.g. employment and poverty alleviation, these experts will discuss how social protection can form the backbone of development policies.
