On 13 November at the INCLUDE Pavilion we host a high level fireside conversation titled The Just Transition Is Local or It Fails. Global frameworks can guide but they cannot replace community reality. This session asks a simple question. Can we call a transition just if the people living that transition have no influence over its design. This dialogue places local governance community evidence and African lived experience at the centre of climate policy. The purpose is to clarify what real leadership looks like when action is grounded in local legitimacy not external validation.
