In 2020, the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs commissioned the INCLUDE platform to write a synthesis report on one of its programmes related to employment for youth: the Local Employment in Africa for Development (LEAD) programme. Based on four independent evaluations of activities undertaken under this programme, INCLUDE has provided a synopsis of lessons learned. In To get to Work, we provide a comparative analysis of results, and discuss potential improvements, such as in creating synergies between programmes and partners.
