The Inception workshop is the kick-off within the research programme ‘Supporting the political role of CSOs for Inclusive Development; Assumptions underlying Dialogue and Dissent’. This first workshop brings all the parties involved together to create a common understanding of the set-up, goals, and (possible) outcomes of the programme. The six research groups will present themselves and discuss their research proposals. The Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA), NWO-WOTRO, the Programme Committee (PC) and INCLUDE will also introduce themselves and explain their roles and responsibilities within the project. INCLUDE will elaborate on the planning of the knowledge brokering activities in 2018 and 2019.
